Julian Kim, MD, Division Chief, Surgical Oncology - UH Cleveland Medical Center

Dr. Julian Kim is a renowned expert in the treatment of patients with melanoma, breast cancer, soft tissue sarcomas, and gastrointestinal malignancies. As an expert in these various areas of cancer, Dr. Kim has risen to top of oncologic surgeons in the nation. As a recognized fact of his expertise he was named Chief of Oncologic Surgery and Chief Medical Officer at the Seidman Cancer Center of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. 
As the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kim oversees all inpatient and outpatient cancer clinical care activities within the Seidman Cancer Hospital.  As Chief of Oncologic Surgery, he is charged with unifying and representing all cancer surgery specialists across multiple Departments, which is a structure unique to leading cancer centers across the U.S. Prior to his joining the Seidman Cancer Center in 2006, Dr. Kim served as Director of the Melanoma Program at the Cleveland Clinic.  He received his MD from the Medical College of Ohio and completed his surgical residency at the University of Maryland Hospitals in Baltimore.  He also completed a surgical oncology and immunotherapy fellowship at Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University.
