Dr. Friedlander is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and practices Allergy in Cleveland, Ohio at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University.
Originally from the Greater Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Sam Friedlander spent his undergraduate and medical school years in Virginia. He then completed a dual Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Case Western Reserve University.
He trained in Allergy/Immunology in Madison, WI with some of the nation's preeminent asthma leaders. He is also very active in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI). He is the Chair of the AAAAI Rhinitis, Rhinosinusitis, and Ocular allergy Committee, is a Seminar leader at the national AAAAI meetings, author of book chapters and journal articles, and is a Reviewer for several journals and for the AAAAI. He has been interviewed on local and national television, newspaper, and radio media including the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. Dr. Friedlander is also the President of the Cleveland Allergy Society.
