Monday, May 04, 2015
CLEVELAND and ASHLAND – Samaritan Regional Health System (SRHS) in Ashland County and University Hospitals (UH) in Cleveland have signed a letter of intent to officially explore an integration that will add SRHS into the UH system.

This announcement comes after a dedicated, year-long search identifying SRHS’s best options to continue the organization’s mission of “promoting the health and wellness of people in the communities served.” The recommendation to explore an affiliation with UH came from a special committee comprised of SRHS Board and medical staff leaders with assistance from experienced health care consultants.
