University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic Hold Joint Media Briefing on COVID-19

CLEVELAND, Ohio –In accordance with Cleveland Clinic and UH’s “Stronger Together” pledge to collaborate for the benefit of their community to address challenging public health needs, experts from both institutions provided an update on the current state of COVID-19 in the area.
Northeast Ohio recently endured another surge in COVID-19 cases that put pressure on local health systems. Cleveland Clinic and UH experts discussed when we may face the next wave, implications for children and holiday gatherings, as well as provided an update on vaccines, boosters and new developments in therapeutics.
