Judith Wolfe, MD, Named Chief Medical Officer of UH St. John Medical Center

CLEVELAND - University Hospitals (UH) is pleased to announce the recruitment of Judith Wolfe, MD, an accountable and collaborative national healthcare leader in patient experience, as the new Chief Medical Officer of University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio.
Dr. Wolfe comes to UH St. John from the Cleveland Clinic, where she has served as Associate Chief Experience Officer for the past four years. In this role, she led improvement in patient experience metrics for their operations in Ohio and Florida, as well as in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. She has lectured both nationally and internationally on excelling at patient experience. Dr. Wolfe was a key liaison between the executive team and medical professionals and spearheaded initiatives to enhance healthcare data analysis and artificial intelligence capabilities. Dr. Wolfe was also Medical Director of the Cleveland Clinic Community Paramedicine and Urgent Dispatch, overseeing clinical program management, referral and revenue streams and staffing.
An emergency medicine physician, Dr. Wolfe is widely published on topics of pediatric emergency medicine and has worked in numerous emergency departments, from Fairview Hospital to Southwest General Health Center and to what is now UH Elyria Medical Center. She spent four years as Chair and Medical Director of the Lakewood Hospital ED.
Dr. Wolfe is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the State University of New York at Buffalo’s School of Medicine, where she completed her residency in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Wolfe and her husband, Skip, have four children.
