University Hospitals Announces New Urgent Care Location in Cleveland Heights

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio– University Hospitals opened a new urgent care facility in Cleveland Heights-The Ascent. UH Urgent Care Cleveland Heights–The Ascent is a welcome addition to patients in the community and reduces their travel time when seeking medical attention. This new location is part of the larger plan to deliver healthcare closer to where patients live, shop and work.

UH Urgent Care Cleveland Heights–The Ascent opened September 30, at 12301 Cedar Road Cleveland Heights, OH 44106. Ideally located just a five-minute drive away from University Hospitals Cleveland campus and Case Western Reserve University. This location, on the mass transit bus route, has prime visibility from the road with convenient access to high-quality healthcare services for Cleveland Heights and surrounding area residents.

This new location, and all UH Urgent Care facilities, are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, with special hours on some holidays. UH Urgent Care Cleveland Heights–The Ascent uses integrated technology through MyChart, powered by Epic, allowing caregivers to share information about a patient’s urgent care visit with their University Hospitals physician, supporting a seamless transition to follow-up care. This location is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to providing compassionate, efficient, and personalized care to patients of all ages.

Services include on-site x-ray, lab, EKG, medication dispensing, and more. With the opening of this Cleveland Heights location, UH Urgent Care now offers 25 locations in Northeast Ohio.
